O.D.M are releasing some brand new designs for Summer 2012! These fresh new colourful models are aimed at the ever growing LED watch market and the gadget watch market for young people between the ages of 18-30 and as always Tide Distribution will be distributing them exclusively in the UK. O.D.M are also extending their booming Hacker range of watches after instant success with their smart yet original design that had sophisticated young men adding unique timepieces to their outfits all over the country.

Sunstitch- Introducing the Sunstitch watch, the second design by Michael Young for O.D.M. a combination of their minimalistic style with a digital clockface that is powered by solar power and has a touch screen mechanism, making this a functional, eco-friendly yet fashionable product. It features two modes to tell the time by an LCA mode with a traditional display that shows the time with two arms pointing at the e hours and the minutes as usual. Or a digital display that is accessed by touching the clockface at 6’o clock and a large digital clock display appear, showing the time in a 24 hour format.

Made from a plastic case with a mineral lens, case diameter 45 mm, a P.U strap with a stainless steel buckle, digital movement operated by solar panel & battery (two way power) and all the other regular features such as sleep mode, date, EL light to name a few.

The Illumi+’s USP is exactly in the name, it’s luminous  digital watch display, allowing the wearer to see the time no matter what the visibility is in his/her surroundings. New to the UK are the brand new watch brand Mykonos, coming from Italy. Mykonos’s brand new range of LED watches(pictured right) have proven to be extremely popular back in Italy and with the growing trend of LED watches right now, these are certain to sell, at the forefront of this is the world range, which is a selection of watches that can come with either the American, British, Cuban or the Italian flags on the face of the watch, obviously the British flag design will appeal to the British market, as well as the flag designs there is also the gold special edition watch that is also pictured. NOOKA has just announced its first venture into iPhone apps!

The app will turn any IOS device into a Nooka experience with the addition of a world time clock.

The clock allows users to register the time throughout the world at the same time. An alarm, stopwatch and timer functions are also available.

The free app includes Yourtime mode, which turns iphones into one of the four Nooka interfaces – the ZenH, ZenV, Zot and/or Zirc with a customisable colour scheme.

The full version, retailing for 69p, includes Yourtime mode with a push-function alarm, stopwatch, push-function timer and worldtime clock, which allows users to register time throughout the world at the same time.

The Nooka app, available now from ITunes, was built using foneClay’s Studio Technology.

Foneclay’s goal is to make mobile telephones the most personal form of device using cloud-based technology.

Its services are built so users can customise, test and distribute applications or mobile devices and tablets.

Nooka is a New York-based design company founded by artist/designer Matthew Waldman.
